Job Profile

We are seeking a competent Computer Vision Engineer for our early stage start-up in Automotive technology space to design, develop and integrate computer vision algorithms for our rider safety product. Computer Vision algorithms play a pivotal role in capturing high-end images of surroundings and mapping them accurately to produce effective alerts for the rider.

About your role

• Develop Computer Vision algorithms for feature extraction, tracking, and prediction
• Lay mathematical foundations for Path Prediction, Monocular Depth Estimation, and related 3D geometry
• Architecture for real-time fail-safe image capture, and handling framework
• Develop Camera and Lens Calibration algorithms for lens correction, road objects distance estimation
• Develop Image Enhancement algorithms for producing a good looking images from low resolution cameras
• Develop video compression algorithms for transmitting video streams over mobile network
• Write a test framework for unit and integration testing

Desired Candidate Profile

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering from premiere educational institutes
• Experience in Image Processing and Computer Vision Applications
• Very good understanding of Kalman Filters, Pinhole Camera Model, Epipolar Geometry, Stereo Vision concepts, Camera Intrinsics and Extrinsics
• Hands on experience in libraries and frameworks like OpenCV, OpenCL, Intel TBB, ROS, Google Test Framework
• Strong programming skills in Modern C++14 or above, Python with good grasp on data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of working with small embedded computers, hardware peripherals
• Basic knowledge of Docker Containers and Linux flavored operating systems
